3. Work experience

Amadeus began producing music around 1994 and has worked in this field ever since, on both his projects and for corporate clients.

From 1997 to 2021, he was the founder and managing director of kubus media, a digital communications agency based in Basel, Switzerland. Driven by his enthusiasm for all things new media, he taught himself to manage digital communication projects for international clients from start to finish, playing an active role in their implementation (concept, design, development, etc.) alongside his team of 8—13 specialists.

In 2023, he and his wife relocated to Koh Pha-ngan, Thailand and started a new business there. He continues his music production activities there, having relocated his entire studio.

Since he switched from being a quasi-lifelong macOS user to becoming a Linux evangelist in 2021, he has worked on making Linux a more viable platform for music production, which led to the foundation of the initiative Linux Audio Development in 2025.
