Linux Audio Development (LAD) status update
The activities surrounding my Linux Audio Development (LAD) initiative are steadily increasing. π
The community has helped me round out the FAQ, and I have already interviewed 5 artists (Alison Wilder, G M Slater, Niels Ott, Venn Stone and a self-interview with me) and 14 developers (ACMT β Applied Computer Music Technologies, Auburn Sounds, AudioThing, Audio Assault, DDMF, Inphonik, Kazrog, Linux Studio Plugins, RV Audio Design, Sinevibes, Sinuslabs, Sononym, TAL Software, and u-he) who use or support Linux. π€
More interviews with alf, Audio Damage, TernΓ€r Music Technology, Filipe Coelho (falkTX), Signal Perspective, direct.audio, Klaus Scheuermann, n-Track, Algonaut, Robin Gareus (x42), Klangfreund, Elk Audio, Val Davis, and many others are already in the works. π
Meanwhile, I have also been able to persuade a good hand full of plugin vendors to port their plugins to Linux, among them DDMF and Kazrog!. π₯³
The project is a lot of work and still in its infancy, but is already bearing fruit. π₯°
