Bitwig Studio Jungle Retreat

I'm incredibly excited to announce my music production retreat for Bitwig Studio fans! 🥰🥳😝

But first, a little backstory—this retreat came together through a series of twists and turns:

2021

• I closed my long-standing company—kubus media AG—in Basel, Switzerland.

2023

• We relocated to Koh Pha-ngan, Thailand.

2024

• I co-founded Love You More Co., Ltd. (ice cream lounge, sauna, ice bath, and more) with Mónica Schütt and two dear new Thai friends.
• We started renovation of an old restaurant for Love You More.
• We also started construction of the sauna for Love You More.

2025

• I launched the Linux Audio Development initiative.
• I restarted to make PeerTube and YouTube videos on music production and Linux Audio.
• After investing almost all our savings into our new life—especially, the construction work around Love You More—our finances got tight.
• We both took on various jobs (solar/electric, graphic design, consulting, etc.), leaving little time for Linux Audio Development or my own music.

Then the idea hit me …

… why not organize a music production retreat? It could provide financial support, let me do what I love most—making music—spend time with like-minded humans, reconnect with music prodcution friends, and introduce all of them to the amazing island of Koh Pha-ngan and our new life here. 🥳

Dates, program, and even the length of the retreat can be agreed upon individually. And, if Thailand is too far, online lessons are also possible (at different rates, of course).
